truth poem wilderness

Truth is like a wild animal
An elusive creature
In the inner wilderness of being

Venture there and you might see traces
Venture further and you might hear it
Venture even further and you might catch a glimpse

If truth is hunted, it is no longer truth
If truth is captured and domesticated, it is no longer truth

Those who showcase its dead body claim to have truth
They don’t
Those who have domesticated it claim to have truth
They don’t
Those who have seen pictures claim to know truth
They don’t

Truth cannot be known
Have the courage to venture out into the inner wilderness of being
And maybe
Just maybe
You’ll catch a glimpse
